Nice to meet you!

Victoria Butzer, MEd, RP

I graduated in 2008 from the University of Ottawa with a Masters degree in Counselling. I am currently registered, in good standing, with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.

I have worked in both a hospital and community setting with individuals with mild to severe mental health concerns. I also have extensive knowledge of Acquired Brain Injury and specialize in providing mental health services to those with cognitive difficulties.

Born and raised in SD&G and I have lived & worked in other communities in Eastern & Western Canada. I am a wife, a mother & caregiver to a lovely bullmastiff named Ginger, two cats & a bearded dragon.

I value time spent outdoors & with people who I care about. I love coffee, birds & going to new places.

I have empathy for those living with chronic health conditions as I have been living Type 1 Diabetes for over 25 years.

The therapeutic approaches that I practice are predominately, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Self-Compassion, Poly Vagal Informed Therapy & Positive Psychology.
